T.RP.III.IMP.V.COS.IISome late issues of Emesa are dated to 195 AD (TRP III). These coins often show punctuation separating the words and use what appears to be a gamma in place of one I in COS II. The reverse showing a seated captive is found with several minor varieties.

TRP III IMP V COS IIOn this coin, the captive is holding his head rather than having the hands tied behind his back.

.TRPIII IMP .V.COS.IIThe other dated reverse type shows a trophy of arms with two captives seated at its base. The captives always wear the curved hats that identify them as Parthians.
